Lola on set

Here, Lola waits for her cue to portray a very thoughtful mouse in the "Mouse Went Up the Clock" scene.

Framed Perfectly

Hollywood Lola

On Saturday, Lola became a real-life working actor with her own acting permit, her own special "Coogan Account" in which to store her earnings and her own call time. We got there at 1 p.m. and Lola had about five costume changes in three hours. The director (her friend Tuesday's dad Tom) was very pleased with her professionalism, ability to hit her mark and her enthusiasm for the role. It was a very exciting day. We'll have footage of Lola's onscreen brilliance in a couple of months..Here, she brings a certain je ne sais quoi to the role of "The Farmer's Wife."

Jungle Gym

So here she is at the tippity-top of the jungle gym, an achievement that just a few weeks ago seemed well out of her reach.

The Easter Cake

No one loves a nice pink cake like Lola P. Howe. And so, Easter was as good a reason as any to make one.. Here she is posing happily next to hers.

It has been an especially busy spring break for Lola. She had two weeks off school and we made the most of it. Pony rides were, naturally, a part of the fun.

Lola Loves Her Cat

And Bunk loves her right back.
